Arriving at the Alamo helicopter Tours office, in the Stinson airport terminal, you are greeted by a member of the company's staff. You are then asked for your wait and given brief safety instructions prior to the flight. You're encouraged to bring cameras and video recorders. If there is more than one person going on the ride, your weight will dictate where you sit in the helicopter. Generally, lighter passengers are given the front seat for the flight... Don't take it personally though. While the safety explanation is going on in the office, the pilot is out starting the helicopter up prior to your ride. You are then escorted out of the helicopter, told to keep your head low and told not to raise your hands for safety reasons. You get in, buckle your seatbelts and you're ready to go.
